Do Something Challenge
Make this a summer of adventure and try something new and fun. You could learn a skill or investigate something you've always wanted to know more about—maybe both! Map our your summer plan, then, once you reach your goal, tell us your summer story about what you learned during the challenge by sharing your story with us to be entered into the end-of-summer prize drawing.
End-of-Summer Prize Drawing
To enter the drawing, write what you learned during the Do Something Challenge by answering the questions in the Summer Story section of the Summer Learning Guide. Then, fill out the form on the back of the page and submit it at any branch by August 31 to enter the end-of-summer prize drawing.

Audiobooks count for the Read Something Challenge!

Seattle Storm
Kids and teens, start your summer with a slam dunk! The Seattle Storm proudly supports Summer Learning, so youth readers who finish 10 hours of reading will get a voucher for two tickets to a game!
Each 10-hour youth reader can get up to four tickets, and each household can get up to eight tickets, while supplies last.
Youth transit is free with an ORCA card or student ID. For more information on free public transportation in Seattle on game day, visit seattlestorm.com.

Youth Ride Free!
Anyone 18 or under can ride buses, ferries, and trains for free in the Puget Sound with a student ID or a Youth ORCA card. To learn more and get a free Youth ORCA card, visit FreeYouthTransitPass.com.
