Twenty-five years ago, the City of Bremerton, with the support of Kitsap Regional Library, bestowed a significant honor upon its downtown Bremerton building, naming it after the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As we mark this momentous anniversary and pay tribute to the profound significance behind this naming; we invite you to be a part of the Library's special event, where we will formally recognize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the renaming of the downtown Bremerton branch location.
Time: Jan. 12, 6-8 p.m.*, with speakers at 6:15 p.m.
Location: Downtown Bremerton, 612 5th Street
*Please note this event is weather-dependent as we prepare for a chilly, snowy weekend.
Immerse yourself in the spirit of celebration as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy. Enjoy a light selection of hors d'oeuvres and connect with fellow library enthusiasts and our vibrant community for an evening filled with meaningful words, camaraderie, and the joy of acknowledging a legacy that continues to inspire us all. We look forward to sharing this special moment with you.
This event is open to all.
Please RSVP to ensure we have ample arrangements for all attendees. An RSVP is not required to attend.
