It began with the spark of an idea more than a year ago. What followed was months of conversation, collaboration, and creation led by the Library's Communications Department to bring our 80th anniversary to life.
After collecting input from all nine branch locations, Ayanna, the team's marketing and communications coordinator, illustrated the limited-edition library cards and prizes, including the postcard set and bookmarks, as well as the posters you see in each branch, to reflect every library's community and history.
Graphic Designer Terra designed the 80th-anniversary logo, along with the passport stamp for each branch—featured on apparel and bags in Kitsap Regional Library Foundation's, opens a new window store — complimenting the design created by Ayanna.
Marketing and Communications Manager Victoria and Content Specialist Kaitlyn spent months researching and compiling the history of all nine branches before writing the copy found in the passport, Chapters, website, social media, opens a new window, and more. Jeannie, Director of Strategy and Communications, oversaw Passport to Explore from start to finish, developing the initial idea for the project and working with Victoria to support its launch and production throughout the last year.
