The Materials Request Form is used strictly to request materials that KRL does not have in the catalog. If you haven't already done so, please check the catalog now.
Although all requests are handled in a very timely manner,
the process for requesting materials may take up to 6 - 8 weeks before the material is available to pickup.
Unfortunately, we cannot add all requests for materials, therefore, we must consider each request as a suggestion
to purchase material or acquire material by means of an interlibrary loan (ILL).
We are not able to notify you when items are not selected for purchase, however we will attempt to get the material by ILL, if that is the case. Please note that entertainment videos, music CDs and computer software are not available through ILL.
If an item is selected for purchase or ILL, a hold will be placed for you, usually within four weeks.
This form cannot be used to place holds on materials that are in the catalog.
